Smexy’s Top Ten–March 15th

March 15, 2013 by Mandi 22 Comments

  10. Best thing ever? Why have I never eaten out of the hood of my backwards hoodie? I will now set a goal to eat ALL THE HOOD FOOD. You might not even need your hands. Brilliant. (Link.)   9. I loved Sins & Needles by Karina Hall, the first book in her Artists Trilogy. The author has now released a prequel novella. I’m going to read it this weekend, but from what I hear (and for those that have read S&N) you may actually LIKE Javier after this novella. Which will just spin Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten-March 8

March 8, 2013 by Tori 27 Comments

Mandi’s still on vacation so I am your lord and master today. ACCEPT ME AS YOUR LORD AND MASTER!! *clears throat* Oops, wrong group. Sooooooo.... let's get this party STARTED. 10. J.R. Ward has announced she will post a daily Lovers At Last quotes on Facebook, starting today till it's release. First one is Bella and Z. “Zsadist! Zsaaaaaaaaaaaaadist!” The scream carried all the way across the glowing blue lawn as, up at the terrace, a lone figure shot out into the snow at a dead Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten- March 1st

10. It’s Friday. It’s time for cat pizza. (Yes, it’s only the beginning of the top ten list and I’ve already resorted to cat pizza. It’s that kind of Friday). 9. Kate gave me the heads up that the prologue and first chapter of Lover at Last can be found at this Amazon UK site. I skimmed it, but I haven’t read it in full yet. It makes it more painful to wait I think! 8. Ilona Andrews has posted an extended snippet (chp 1 and 2)  for Kate Daniels #6 aka Magic Rises. They also hint that book Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–February 22nd

February 22, 2013 by Mandi 18 Comments

10. Right? *grins*   9. Who is going to the Lori Foster Author/Reader get together in June? This will be my third year. I’m excited. It’s only $50 (includes all of your meals) plus the cost for the hotel room. Super laid back atmosphere…a great way to just casually hang out with readers and authors. Registration opens March 4th.   8. Jill Shalvis is going to giveaway 100 arcs of her next book, It Had To Be You. How do you get one? Sign up to become a Jill’s Bookaholic. She will Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–February 15th

February 15, 2013 by Mandi 28 Comments

10. Do we all feel extra loved now that Valentine’s Day is behind us? I know I feel extra bloated from all the food I ate last night. Throughout the week, I collect things for each week’s top ten, so when I open my document Friday morning I usually have at least a dozen items to sort through to create my top ten. This morning I have three. Apparently the internet was not fun this week. So we’ll see how this top ten goes. I do know my friends sent me some verra naughty things yesterday in honor Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–February 8th

  10. I’m completely obsessed with the Lizzie Bennett Diary videos. Beyond obsessed. Unfamiliar? They are a modern adaption of Pride & Prejudice told in Vlog style. Completely adorable and they capture the book so well. Darcy and his awkward flirting makes me die swooning. There are currently 86 episodes and each one is 3-4 minutes long. We are getting towards the end, as Wickham and Lydia’s drama is now unfolding. *bites lip* This above gif make me smile so much. Yes Darcy – Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–February 1st

  10. Last week at this time I was in bed…feverish…slightly delirious..I may have called my husband Barrons or John Matthew. Who knows. But I’m back. And to celebrate I’m going to pour myself a Starbucks size sippy cup of wine err..grape juice. 9. Fun news! On Valentine’s day, I am going to be moderating a live video chat with authors Julie James and Samantha Young. Taking place from 3-4pm EST, you can check out where the chat will be hosted by clicking HERE. Julie, Samantha and I Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–January 18th

January 18, 2013 by Mandi 40 Comments

10. Seriously. The media has me convinced if I leave my house I’ll get the flu. My children get off the bus with their hot, sticky hands and I recoil in horror until I can properly bathe them in lysol and bleach. Am I overreacting? I THINK NOT 9. Nalini SIngh is giving away four copies of her upcoming anthology, Wild Invitation. It has four Psy-Changeling stories in it, two never before seen. You can read more about it HERE. Go HERE to enter the contest. And remember January 31 she is Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–January 11th

January 11, 2013 by Mandi 19 Comments

10. Top Ten is back. Happy belated New Year to everyone. We will be keeping it as classy as always in 2013. 9. Samantha Young has announced that On Dublin Street #2 will be titled, Down London Road and set to come out May 7th. The blurb from Goodreads: It has always been up to Johanna to care for her family, particularly her younger brother, Cole. With an absent father and a useless mother, she’s been making decisions based on what’s best for Cole for as long as she can remember. She even Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten Favorite Heroes for 2012

December 21, 2012 by Mandi 22 Comments

Next week we’ll be bringing you our favorite books of 2012 and on New Years day I’ll be posting my favorite Sex Scenes of 2012. (That’s a good way to ring in the new year, yes?) But today, let’s talk about the men of 2012. The men who wooed us, who flaunted their hard abs and big bulges, who whispered dirty things in our ears. Tack (Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley). Tack goes from the most arrogant, obnoxious ‘alpha-hole’ to the most lovable (still arrogant) alpha hero that is out there. I. Continue Reading
