Smexy’s Top Ten – RT Edition
10. I arrived in New Orleans, or how the cool people say it, NOLA on Tuesday. I've been in a drunken haze ever since. Kidding! Bourbon Street hasn't owned me yet. *shifty eyes* Anyway - I still have two full days of this super fun conference, but I thought I'd recap the events of the past few days. Top Ten style of course. 9. I met Kristen Ashley, otherwise known as the person who created Tack. I played it cool, but it was hard. She was on a panel with Rachel Gibson and Susan Continue Reading
May’s top 10: April 18
At the moment Utah has a bit 'o smexy in it. (heh). That's right. Mandi is off on a fabulous vacation while I (May) sit here and scour the internet for you, my lovely smexy friends. 10. I won't give spoilers - but a) Mandi being on vacation is SERIOUSLY crimping my GOT recap session style and b) the end of episode 2. Oh yes. I love Game of Thrones season, and I look forward to my Tuesday morning recap with the 'Gay of Thrones' video series. Where are my dragons? 9. I love my Continue Reading

May’s Favorite Books of 2013
I read a lot of good books this year especially urban fantasy and contemporary romance. I am, in fact, over the moon happy that fun romantic contemporary romances are back. I am also sad that historical romances, for the most part, are disappointing right now with very few exceptions. Two books that are intentionally absent that were originally in consideration for this list that I do want to mention are The Last Hour of Gann (yeah fascinating, but it just wasn’t awesome for me) and also, Continue Reading
Tori’s Favorite Books of 2013
2013 ran the literary gauntlet from incredible never to be forgotten stories to crap I wouldn’t line my rabbit cage with. We saw the rise of emotionally angsty New Adult, erotic moody billionaire alpha hole trilogies, and intense “omg they di’nt” biker MC romances. Self publishing began to lose it’s stigma and take a larger share of the market while also contributing to the rash of plagiarism that flooded the internet. It was a crazy wild year for publishing. Below is a list of what rocked my Continue Reading
