Over the next week or two, the Smexy Reviewers will be posting their picks for the best books to read this summer. May is here to kick it off. Looking for a tortured hero, a journalist trying to get her groove back, a psycho bent on revenge, and a whole lot of action? Cindy Gerard’s BOI series is romantic suspense at its finest – they are all good reads! I especially recommend the first: Show Now Mercy. It’s a book I still re-read now and then. Smexy’s Top Ten–April 20th
10. I love shoes, but I need a shirt that says, I <3 Books, Booze and Boys with Tattoos. Ha! But THIS shirt is awesome. 9. The cover is now out for K.A. Mitchell’s August release, But My Boyfriend Is. No blurb yet and yes I know August is so far away. This is #4 in her Florida series – which can be read as stand alones, but I adore this series and if you haven’t read it yet, get going! I suggest starting with Collision Course (book #2), then read No Souvenirs, and then go back to book #1, Continue Reading

Where Are All The Nice PNR Heroes?
Yesterday on Twitter we were talking about Lothaire, and Jane asked, where are the nice guys in PNR? There does seem to be a lot of bad boys out there. I love to see a bad boy be brought down by love. Lothaire has walked the Earth for centuries, always getting his way. I am amused by how his heroine Ellie makes him learn how to be unselfish (somewhat). Dmitri from Nalini Singh’s Archangel’s Blade is another very naughty hero. So wicked. Again, I love how he stays wicked throughout the book. Continue Reading
