I read 222 books this year, which is low for me, but I overall I had a pretty good year. Thirteen absolute favorites - four of which are paranormal, two m/m, and one that doesn't have a happily ever after (don't freak out!). Here they are in no particular order: Hold Me Close by Megan Hart - Dark, erotic, sometimes horrifying, sometimes uplifting. From my review: Megan Hart doesn’t make it easy – sometimes it’s horrifying. Sometimes it’s really sad. I’m not sure I smiled, but I was Continue Reading

Tori’s Top Books for 2015
2015 was a strange year both personally and professionally. So many good books were published but not a lot wowed me. I know what you’re thinking- ”Dude, you have 24 books listed.” This is true. But I read over 300 new to me books this year, so this doesn’t even represent 10% of what I have read. MATH FTW!! Plus, it’s hard for me to pick. Unless I DNF, there is some aspect I enjoy about every book I read from the ‘wow this is fantastic’ 5 star reads to the ‘what the fresh hell was THAT’ 1 star Continue Reading

She is one of my favorite authors and in this one, as in her others, she brings up a difficult topic. This time the hero has been accused of non-consensual sex prior to the book starting. He is innocent, but the college may take action depending upon an upcoming hearing. I think the author handles this topic well and I like how it all plays Continue Reading

Smexy Scene Sunday
Hero: Knox Masters. A senior at Western State. Headed for the NFL. Smart, gorgeous, and talented. Oh, and he's a virgin. Heroine: Ellie Campbell. A junior at Western State. Her brother is on the football team. Smart, beautiful, and holding on to a very big secret. Oh, and she doesn't date football players. Ever.
