10. I'd like to thank Brady and the Patriots for my twitter stream being FULL of ball jokes yesterday. #BallsForever. Ball jokes will never get old. @ChrisEvans We both know there's only one Captain America and his name is Russell Wilson. #SuperBowlBound #LOB #Repeat — chris pratt (@prattprattpratt) January 19, 2015 9. Speaking of balls - the ADORABLE Chris Pratt (Seahawks fan) and Chris Evans (he does nothing for me *hides* - a Patriots fan) are having an adorable Continue Reading

Tropes Mandi is Looking for in 2015
Each month, Sophia from Fiction Vixen and I put out a monthly newsletter called, How Many Licks (how many licks does it take to get to the center of a romance hero - or any other way you want to use "lick" and "romance hero" in a sentence) This month, we talked about tropes we are seeking out in 2015 - and in case you don't subscribe to our newsletter, I thought I'd post it here for further discussion. If you would like to subscribe, go here. We do a different topic or highlight a different Continue Reading
Mandi’s Favorite Books of 2014
What makes me happy about my favorite book list this year is that it encompasses so many sub-genres of romance. I think I hit almost every category, and that makes me happy. In no particular order: Rogue Spy by Joanna Bourne - I highly recommend The Forbidden Rose, The Black Hawk and Rogue Spy for fans of historical spy romance. I'll be a Hawker groupie for life. A Bollywood Affair by Sonali Dev - Debut book and I couldn't be more excited to see what this author puts out Continue Reading
Smexy’s Top Ten – Ho Ho Ho
10. This is our last Top Ten list until 2015! I think. I currently have nothing planned to post on Friday 12/26. Maybe if I can find my way out of the discarded wrapping paper and my drunken eggnog haze I'll post. (I won't). 9. Book news: I found out this week that Hachette is releasing a F/F romance book early next year. I'm really happy to see this. I see that mainstream publishers are starting to pick-up M/M books, and now we get F/F too. Hooray! Here is the blurb: Tate Grafton has a Continue Reading

A Bollywood Affair by Sonali Dev Contemporary Romance October 28, 2014 Kensington Rating: A Exquisite is the best word I can think of to describe Sonali Dev's A Bollywood Affair. Review: Harlequin Contemporary Boxed Set #3
Harlequin Contemporary Boxed Set #3 Released: September 1, 2014 Contemporary Romance Harlequin Reviewed by Mandi Note: I'm only reviewing two of the four stories in this set. I believe each story will be sold separately sometime in the future. When the Lights go Down by Amy Jo Cousins Maxie Tyler is Chicago’s toughest stage manager. Her latest gig is just the break she needs, and she’s not going to let anyone get in her way. Not even the producer with dreamy blue eyes Continue Reading
