News from Mandi: The Luckiest Lady in London by Sherry Thomas is so good. I’ll be reviewing this coming week. The hero grew up without his parents really loving him and as an adult he becomes this perfect gentleman who refuses to get too close to anyone but ends up marrying the heroine who is somewhat poor but full of life. And he has trust issues and she knows he does and it’s all so sexy and romantic. Really enjoyed.
I had big issues with Yours to Keep by Serena Bell. The hero judges and stereotypes stay at home moms so much in this book. He calls them ‘desperate mommies’ and talks about the ‘mommies’ A LOT. Thankfully the heroine isn’t a desperate mommy. *rolls eyes* I’ll be reviewing this coming week.
Taking Him by Jackie Ashenden features a virgin hero and a heroine who designs video games. This book is quite dark – I liked it but I also had some problems with it. Review coming soon.
I DNF’d Bloodmark by Aurora Whittet because I couldn’t get into the book and Wicked Misery by Tracey Martin because the world was too confusing.
Tori’s News: Kylie Scott’s Hearts A Mess is a sexy little niblet that addresses workplace romances and nosy siblings. Fast pacing and cute characters made this a fast enjoyable read. Review to come.
Dragos Takes A Holiday by Thea Harrison brings us more Dragos, Pia, and LOTS of Liam aka the peanut. A super cute novella that makes you remember why you fell in love with Harrison’s Elder Races series to begin with. Review to come.
Jaci Burton’s wild and crazy Riley family is back in Holiday Games. A Play by Play novella about packed with babies, and making Christmas wishes come true. While I enjoyed revisiting the Riley’s and extended family, the women are all beginning to bug me. They are all becoming rather copycat in characterization. Review to come.
Knox’s Stand by Jamie Begley. Knox, Last Rider member and resident menage a trois bad boy finds his need for many becomes a need for one when he falls for an uptight lawyer with a big secret. The Last Riders series is on my crack reading shelf. Fun characters, sexy scenes, and a tad bit of angst makes for a fast interesting read. Begley’s writing has matured though I do feel the main premise has slipped and gone from outrageous to mainstream.
In Kelly’s Corner by Roxie Rivera. I really enjoyed Rivera’s Russian Protector series so was pleased to see she was spinning off with the Connellys. Kelly’s Corner wasn’t bad but the wow factor Rivera has with the Russians isn’t evident here.
Don’t Want To Miss A Thing by Jill Mansell is a lightweight romantic contemporary packed full of dry British wit, eccentric characters, and crazy scenes. A delightful read that entertained though I did feel that Ms. Mansell juggled to many subplots in here. It took from the main protagonists. Review to come.
The Tin Box by Kim Fielding is a bittersweet mm love story that addresses mental illness, ex gay theory, and having the courage to take control of your life. Review to come.
Sommersgate House by Kristen Ashley is a sexy paranormal romance with action, intrigue, and plenty of sexy romance between a couple who are thrown together when they are handed guardianship over three minors.
Blue Ice Carolina Soto is an romantic contemporary that fails in it’s execution. Fans of FSoG may enjoy as it mimics the storyline and characterization. Review to come.
This weekend I hope to finish Game For Trouble by Karen Erickson, Pamela Clare’s Wulfe Untamed, and Joanna Wylde’s Reaper’s Legacy

I hope to get the new Thea Harrison book and novella soon myself, so I skipped your review for now. I am a bit too restless to read much or long lately.
