News from Mandi: Jackson’s Trust by Violet Duke was just okay for me. The premise of a female sportscaster paired with a sports analyst intrigued me. The first half was pretty good but then secrets come out and it turns away from a sports romance and more into – something else. Review coming.

Out of Frame by Megan Erickson is the third in her “road trip romance” series, and this time we head on a cruise ship for spring break. A reality star paired with a shy, awkward guy. Sweet and sexy. Review coming.

The Beast by JR Ward – I liked it! Super sweet between Mary and Rhage. Some good stuff with others. You can read my brief thoughts on Goodreads – I’ll post a full review on release day.

News From Tori: Us by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy is a delicious sequel to their award winning Him. Fans need not worry this is a recap. Bowen and Kennedy explores relationships, expectations, and the value of communication in this sweet, sexy and humorous continuation of Wes and Jamie’s story. Review to come.

Good Together by C.J. Carmichael-I picked this one up on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Though touted as a romance, I personally felt worked better as women’s fiction. A woman has to deal with her husband of 19 years abruptly leaving her with no explanations and adjust to the single life while her life is sold out from underneath her. A small romance rears it’s head but it’s her journey that is the appeal. Is currently free on AMZ.

Crimson Cove by Erin Butler–Another FREEBIE from AMZ. Imagine that. Lol This standalone PNR mixes mystery, suspense, and romance with a cast of engaging supernaturals when a young witch is forced back home to find a stolen item the town needs to survive. I liked it and hope the author decides to make this a series.

Tethered Bond by Emma Hart-The third book in Hart’s Holly Wood Files continues to be a hilarious ride when PI Noelle Bond and her alpha boyfriend, Detective Drake Nash trade quips, insults, and clues when a serial killer makes their Holly Wood his new home. With Noelle’s crazy family and Drake’s ex who just can’t take a hint in tow, Noelle and Drake fight and love their way to solving the crime.

When Time Falls Still by Brenda Margriet Clotildes–A slow building steamy romance between a visiting professor and a college security guard. A hint of a mystery rounds this surprisingly emotional and bittersweet story of love, loss, and forgiveness. Review to come.
This weekend I’m reading Amanda Stevens The Visitor. I’ve been waiting for this book FOREVAH!!
