I wonder how Helyce would feel about RUN THE RISK if she reread it today. I had to DNF it when I tried to read it a couple of years ago—the heroine was tstl, inviting this guy she knew nothing about into her apartment and her life! Just because the reader knew he was a good guy didn’t mean the heroine did. I couldn’t with her lack of caution and normal safety checks. Perhaps it’s like the recent revisit to a Kristen Ashley book: sometimes it’s best to leave things in the past.
