Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! I hope you’re having a great week and getting some relaxation and reading in between friends and family gatherings. I’m currently listening to The Inadequate Heir by Danielle L. Jensen. It’s set in her Bridge Kingdom world (I LOVED the first two books!) and it’s great so far. I’m also reading The Things We Leave Unfinished by Rebecca Yarros. The hubs and I are on a red-eye tonight to the east coast; my Kindle is stacked with books for the week ahead.
#5 Can you say Dream Job?
#4 I’d like another wedding, please. Same husband, but it’ll be choreographed this time.
#3 Actual video of me this morning.
#2 This man expertly summoned BookTok. Check the comments.
#1 I hope everyone has a fabulous holiday season. It’s officially on! :)
Let me know what you’re reading AND bonus question, tell me your favorite Thanksgiving food. My favorite is pumpkin pie with LOTS of whipped cream. Yummmmm….
Cheers,
Jen

Just finished Role Model by Rachel Reid. Favorite food? Can I vote instead for good friends at the table?

I’m reading Katie Golding’s WRECKLESS, the second book in her Moto Grand Prix series (after last year’s FEARLESS). It’s an antagonists-to-lovers/sports-rivals romance between two motorcycle riders who have been competing against (and flirting with) each other on the Moto circuit for ten years. Moto is apparently one of the few sports where women and men compete against each other, so that makes the sports-rival angle credible. I’m enjoying the book—it’s very much a slow-burn with a lot of technical detail and competence p*rn. I think if you like Pamela Clare’s Colorado High Country or Kari Lynn Dell’s rodeo romances, you would like Katie Golding’s Moto romances.
Probably my favorite Thanksgiving food is stuffing with whole-berry cranberry sauce—such a perfect combination of sweet & savory. This year, one of my daughters made an absolutely delicious pumpkin tres leches cake—but, being on the diabetic bubble, I had to restrict myself to a small serving.
