Happy Weekend! It’s 80 today in Northern CA and life is good. I’m reading The Words by A. Jade and listening to Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. Both are excellent! Spring Break is hitting early this year for my daughter’s college and I’m mulling over quick getaways. If you have any ideas- hit me up!

What I find odd about No 3, that applicator isn’t something that usually gets sold with tampons in Europe. You can get it separate if you want, but it’s not included when you buy tampons. I have never known anyone who uses it.
Interesting! Most of them here have an applicator- either plastic or cardboard. The only ones I ever see that don’t are the OB tampons.
Seems no applicator seems to be the default other than North America an the UK.
Currently reading Karla Sorensen’s THE PLAN, a bodyguard romance with two MCs who are both dealing with the after-effects of traumas. In an oblique way, THE PLAN reminds me of Tessa Bailey’s IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER in that the heroines of both books are social media influencers who want to break away from their toxic online situations, but aren’t sure what to do next. So far, THE PLAN is very good; Sorensen is a genius with the slow-burn.
Today is my 33rd wedding anniversary! My husband and I are going out to a nice dinner tomorrow night. It’s also Valentine’s weekend and (because we live in southern Louisiana) Mardi Gras parade season, so it took us a while to find a restaurant that had available seating and was not blocked by being on a parade route—so we are going to a steak house about 30 miles away.
Karla Sorensen is a new one for me. THE PLAN sounds good!
