Happy Friday! How is everyone? We did our spring break trip to Scottsdale this year and had a great time. I read, relaxed, ate delicious meals and hiked a crazy steep mountain with hundreds of other people. I just started listening to The War of Two Queens by Jennifer L. Armentrout. The book is getting so many negative reviews, it’s sort of heartbreaking! So far I like it. Look for my review soon.
#5 New fear unlocked
#4 Eight lives left
#3 Excuse me sir, I think you mean vampires
#2 So disappointing when this happens. NSFW
#1 I love Ryan Reynolds and ship him and Blake Lively. This is super cute!
And one bonus… from every crime show you’ve ever watched
On a somber note, there are so many videos on TikTok from Ukraine. My heart is breaking. Sending thoughts of peace to everyone in harm’s way.

Next on my list to read is Hook, Line and Sinker by Tessa Bailey! It’s my book club pick for our meeting on Sunday. I need to speed read it before then. Tell me what you’re reading!
Cheers, Jen

I’m reading two books at polar-opposite ends of the romance spectrum. I just started Serena Bell’s HEAD OVER HEELS, a single-dad/nanny romance with the friends-to-lovers trope thrown in for good measure. This is the second of Bell’s Under One Roof series, lightly revised since the original publication date of 2018. I’m also reading Aleksandr Voinov’s m/m mafia romance, BURN THIS CITY, which is not for the faint of heart as it includes all manner of violence and torture. It’s an enemies-to-lovers story about two “made” men from two rival mob families, one of whom holds the other one captive, planning to torture information out of him. Certainly not for all tastes, but I’m enjoying Voinov’s leisurely-paced and carefully-plotted story.
