Joint Review: The Chosen by J.R. Ward (Spoilers)

April 7, 2017 by Mandi

We are huge fan of this series and it’s definitely had its ups and downs. We've loooooooved some books and others have received 1-star (sorry, that’s what happens when you kill of a heroine in a romance book). We can safely say that The Chosen is one of the better books of late. Yes, there are multiple story lines but it felt more cohesive. Ward really put some intense emotions into it. Helyce, Sheena and I will hit up all the characters. Please note: Spoilers below. We don't hold Continue Reading

Review: The Lady and the Highlander by Lecia Cornwall

April 6, 2017 by Sheena

The Lady and the Highlander by Lecia Cornwall A Highland Fairytale, #3 Historical Romance Released: April 4, 2017 Swerve Reviewed by Sheena Favorite Quote:  “Turn around,” he said gruffly. She raised her chin. “I’m not leaving.” “I sleep naked.” Enchanting. Exciting. Charming.  The "Fairytale Twist" is a trendy trope these days  and I can say that The Lady and the Highlander is the best of the bunch.  It is everything you love about highlander/historical fiction mixed with the magic Continue Reading

When Lettie’s publisher decides to sell only erotica, her Continue Reading

#MakeADateWithHarlequin

March 22, 2017 by Mandi

It's time for another Harlequin romance-themed video! And I need a viking romance book RIGHT NOW ;) Harlequin wondered what would it look like if someone took a Harlequin hero on a date in the city? So we did just that! With hidden cameras, we captured bystander reactions to seeing larger than life hero’s (a Viking and a Cowboy), participating in everyday dating activities with a real-world woman.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OIxBqJu5NI&feature=youtu.be So cute. Also! Continue Reading

Review: Hard Justice by Lori Foster

March 21, 2017 by Helyce

Hard Justice by Lori Foster (A Body Armor Novel #2) Contemporary Romance March 21, 2017 HQN Reviewed by Helyce Ex MMA fighter Justice Wallington is new at being a bodyguard. Highly trained and extremely capable, he certainly doesn’t fit the look one would expect when hired to guard an heiress.  But in the case of Fallon Wade, not looking like a bodyguard is exactly what was required.   Fallon Wade wasn’t always so sheltered, but after a family tragedy her parents simply became Continue Reading

Follow Me Into Darkness Reboot Tour and Giveaway!

February 27, 2017 by Mandi

Five of the top voices in queer romance teamed up last year to give you Follow Me Into Darkness: Five Tales of Carnivale Romance. Their stories were bold, they were decadent, they were achingly sinful. They begged you to remove your masks just once and many of you listened. Their stories looked into the heart of modern day New Orleans and its steamy past, followed an errant queen in disguise, walked through the lush streets of Rio, and then continued straight on into the lofty pages of a Continue Reading
