Smexy’s Not Top Ten–November 1st

November 1, 2013 by Mandi 3 Comments

I don’t have a Top Ten list today. I know, I fail. I accept the blame! Halloween sucked all of my energy out. My kids are old enough now that they sprint from house to house. It used to be I had to drag them up driveways because they were scared. Now my husband and I have to wear our running shoes. It was so much fun though. (Taco and Dr Who #10) So no Top Ten but I do have a few announcements. I’ve featured this site in the past, and with the holidays coming up I thought I would feature Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–October 25th

10. This is the most random Top Ten ever. Weird Dr. Pepper man, sad boyfriends, balancing lizards, a virgin highlander and a sheep with a throat problem. It’s been a weird week y’all.   9. I saw Jessica Clare (aka Jill Myles) tweet this week that her latest book, The Wrong Billionaire’s Bed made the NYT best seller list. So I then thought – wait, why have I never read this series? I enjoy Jill Myles’ voice a lot. So I’m doing it this weekend. There are three out, and many have tweeted Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten– October 18th.

10. Blunt card is back with 50 new cards. I chose the most appropriate card I could find for Top Ten. Honest.   9. Carly Phillips has news – she is self publishing her next series! You can go to her site for more info and for the blurb. But I will copy/paste this: In the past my books have been sweet and sexy contemporaries with a small town setting, but with DARE TO LOVE I’m turning up the heat. The Dare to Love Series will be steamier, sexier and hotter than anything I’ve ever written. Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten

October 11, 2013 by Tori 22 Comments

TGIF MINIONS!! Mandi’s took off and left me here all along so I’m taking over the Top Ten as I won’t be getting my drunk on till later. *fist pump*     10. Lizard Man loving? Twitter is abuzz over The Last Hour Of Gann by R.Lee smith. I’m hearing it is engaging, unique, and quite romantic.  I love a good shifter story but this one goes even beyond in that our lizard man STAYS a lizard. This is alien loving, folks. I also like the premise that our lizard man hero thinks Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–October 4th

10. Blunt Card has some of my favorite Halloween cards.  I’m announcing it’s a tradition and I must post them (repost them) now that it is October. Oh drunk Peggy, how I heart you. 9. Nalini Singh has announced the title of her next Psy/Changeling book coming June 2014: Shield of Winter and the blurb: Assassin. Soldier. Arrow. That is who Vasic is, who he will always be. His soul drenched in blood, his conscience heavy with the weight of all he’s done, he exists in the shadows, far from Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–September 27th

September 27, 2013 by Mandi 12 Comments

10. Saw this on Twitter. Word. 9. JR Ward announced on her FB page today, a new character in her BDB world. The name: s’EX So. Yeah. LOL. This coming Tuesday, Possession from her Fallen Angel series releases (I was sent a copy and immediately turned to the end to see if there was a BDB excerpt. Sadly no.) What do we think of this new name??   8. Amazon announced a new Kindle Fire HDX this week. The most interesting part to me is the inclusion of a 24/7 On Device Tech Support. Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–September 20th

10. Except I wouldn’t because I’m iPhone obsessed. I feel you. *wink* 9. Kresley Cole had a big announcement yesterday. First, she is going to be releasing a new erotic serial this winter called, The Game Maker series. Book one The Professional, is due to release in December. I have to say, I’m very curious about how Cole will write erotic. In other Cole news, her next IAD couple with be Lanthe and Thronos. I had saw so many people say, who? Thronos has the wings right? And he flies over Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–September 13

  10. No comment needed. 9. Tori read Girls’ Night Out by Lauren Dane and here are her thoughts: In Girls’ Night Out, Lauren Dane takes us back to Petal, Georgia for a brief visit with the sexy Chase and Murphy family. Those who read this sexy and humorous romance contemporary series know it is actually a spin off of Dane’s delicious Chase Brother series. I love Dane’s Chase brothers and the Murphy siblings so it was no great leap for me to zero in on her Petal series. In this very Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten-August 30, 2013

10. Happy Labor Day weekend everyone!! Mandi is out of town so todays Top Ten is all about ME and MY thoughts, MY Wants, and MY needs. As it should be. 9. Thanks to Jane from Dear Authors, I have now seen it all. Someone to Cuddle. It's gay cuttlefish shapeshifter erotcia. ZOMG! Can you even say that with a straight face? I don't even know what cuddlefish is. 0_o While I'm definetly NOT taking one for the Smexy team and reading this, I do recommend reading the reviews on Amazon for this Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–August 23rd

10.This has been my FB and Twitter stream all day. I want a gruff, dark Batman..not sure Affleck can pull that off. But either way – we now can call him BATFLECK and is all is right in the world.   9. Jurisha on Twitter yesterday told me to read Aftermath by Cara Dee. After I went to Goodreads and saw my friend Amy read and enjoyed, I plopped down and started reading. And I read it straight through. This is the story of Cameron and Austin, who along with eight other men were kidnapped by Continue Reading
