Smexy’s Top Ten–January 14th

January 14, 2011 by Mandi

10. This week has been crazy. We’ve had snow, school closings, and my oldest son turned seven. He got a spy video camera wrist watch. Why did I think letting my seven year old take secret video footage of me was a good thing? He already knows how to plug the usb thing into the computer too – to download his pictures. Lovely. I will never introduce him to youtube. Worse – my Mother In-law bought him one too..so now my 4 year old wears the extra. There is nowhere to hide in my house. 9. Nalini Continue Reading

A Few DNF (Did Not Finish) Reviews

January 10, 2011 by Mandi

Tori and I read a lot of books. Over the past month or two while we have had lots to squee over, we have also had several that were very disappointing. Against the Wind by Kat Martin Romantic Suspense January 1, 2011 Mira Reviewed by Mandi Several problems with this book, most stemming from the suspense part. Sarah is in danger – not just subtle vandalism, but people holding guns up to her head. Her husband was murdered and it is not just a random act of violence. First when Continue Reading

Guest Author Monica Burns and Giveaway

January 10, 2011 by Mandi

Hi everyone, it’s great to be back here visiting Smexy Books, and I appreciate Mandi giving me a soapbox to stand on.
