Smexy’s Top Ten–February 4th
10. My week – there was lots of that white stuff out there this week. But apparently Punxsutawney Phil didn’t see his shadow. Yay Phil – I’m going to trust you on this one, no matter how disturbing I find the above photo. 9. Need a sneak peek at a anticipated book? You can now read the first 20% of This Side of the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. Chloe Neill has also released the first chapter of her next Chicagoland Vampire Book, Hard Bitten. And if you have not read these series, Smexy Continue Reading
Mandi and Tori’s Top 20 Books for 2010
Mandi’s Top 20 30 books for 2010 I am listing them in order that I read them this year. Okay, so I told Tori to name her top 20 and then cheated and included 30 instead of 20. I couldn’t cut any. *clings to list* Some are 2009 releases that I read this year, some I’ve grouped into series because multiple books in one series were released this year. Here we go! Lead Me On by Victoria Dahl – Chase is one of the HOTTEST heroes I have read this year and I love Victoria Dahl’s style. Elemental Continue Reading
Smexy’s Top Ten – December 3rd
10. You guys! I took the above picture! That’s right…I was about ten feet away from Brandon Flowers Saturday night in Atlantic City. Yes, I made hubs stand in line for five hours. No, I did not throw my unmentionables at him. No, I did not shout “You are a smexy beast.” Hubs was standing right next to me. It was an awesome show – even hubs, very begrudgingly said he liked it. The San Diego band Transfer opened for him and Hubs actually loved their stuff. It was good times. Hubs lost hard on the Continue Reading
Smexy’s Top Ten–October 29th
10. My Week – When I woke up this morning, this is who was standing in my kitchen. I said to hubs, I love a hairy dude, but this might be overkill. His office has a big costume contest each Halloween, and since our six year old is going as Harry Potter, he decided to be Hagrid. I’m impressed because he bought his clothes from Goodwill and the beard and wig are from a viking costume. I think he stopped at the Starbucks like this…. 9. The Nook Color was unveiled this week. It looks really Continue Reading
Smexy’s Top Ten – September 17th
10. My week – Is it really already the middle of September? Well – my week…. The hot tub is still sitting in the driveway. That pretty much summarizes the past seven days. Not much has happened ;) 9. Months ago (maybe a year ago) K.C. from Smokin’ Hot Books started pimping out Enlightened by J.P Barnaby – a young adult m/m book. I read her review, and then bought the book immediately, but it sat on my Kindle, and got pushed way, way down list. Recently, I noticed J.P Barnaby on Twitter which Continue Reading

Smexy’s Favorite Books of 2009
(You didn't think I would have a year-end post without Brandon Flowers, did you?)2009 was a busy year for me. I started the year obsessed with the Anita Blake series by Laurell K Hamilton, which I still feel is one of the best series I have read (at least the first dozen books.) From there I discovered Nalini Singh and Colleen Gleason, two more favorites of mine. And then on March 23, 2009 I sat down at my computer and went to blogger.com. I stared at my screen and thought, oh, I like the name Continue Reading
