August Mini Reviews
Tori: Worked up by Tessa Bailey Romance Contemporary Grade: B+ Tessa Bailey certainly brings her A game as she introduces us to a pair of commitment phobics whose marriage of convenience opens the door to more than they could have ever imagined. Humor, outrageous chemistry, wild unpredictable sex, and some mild angst helps to build a page-turning erotically charged romance when a pouty, growly, giant of a factory worker finds his world turned upside down when he meets a sexy, upbeat Continue Reading

Mandi’s June To-Be-Read
Allegiance of Honor by Nalini Singh - June 14. Slave to Sensaion, book one in this series, released TEN years ago!! Wow. What a great series this has become. Kindle l Nook Idol by Kristen Callihan - June 7. Love Callihan's Game On series, and now she is moving to rock stars?? Yasssss. I hear this has a jaded rock star and a grumpy heroine. This excites me greatly. Kindle The Bourbon Thief by Tiffany Reisz - June 28. I hear this is a big departure from her Sinners series - and I'm Continue Reading
Mandi’s May To-Be-Read
Mister O by Lauren Blakely 4/30 - I really enjoyed Big Rock (read review) - super funny and really sexy/dirty. This book follows supporting characters but is definitely a stand alone. I think I'll do this on audio - I've learned Blakely gets good narrators. Goodreads l Kindle Romancing the Fashionista by K.M Jackson 5/10. I have this coming up for review soon - looking forward to reading it. Goodreads l Kindle Sugar Daddy by Sawyer Bennett 5/24 - I like Bennett's Cold Fury hockey Continue Reading

Highlights: The Chosen is the next BDB book - Xcor and Layla's book! For as much as I used to not like Layla, I enjoy her now and I want her to get down and dirty with Xcor! Also - Lassiter is going to be the next Scribe Virgin? Oh my. 8. Archangel's Heart, the next Guild Hunter book by Nalini Singh, now has Continue Reading
Mandi’s April To-Be-Read
The Beast by J.R. Ward - 4/5. I've read this and definitely give it a solid B. Lots of good Rhage and Mary stuff. Lots of good Layla stuff. V and Lassiter have some good page time too. Felt more focused rather than 500 different story lines. I'll review on Tuesday. Goodreads l Kindle Dirty by Kylie Scott - 4/16. First book of her spin-off from Stage Dive, we head to bartenders. Yassssss. Tori has read this and says it's "absolutely adorable." I'm excited. Goodreads l Kindle The Continue Reading
