I have known the manager of our local bookstore, Little Professor, for some time now. *waves* Hi Sarah!! A while ago, she asked me if I would want to do a "Smexy Recommends" display at her store. I thought it was a great idea! So I came up with twelve of my favorite books/series and wrote up little summaries about each one. We decided we needed a giveaway. So we stuffed a gift basket full of - An Edward Cullen action figure (hello!! I have one - and everyone else must have one too), copies of Continue Reading

The FTC just stated that if you are a blogger and you receive a payment or freebie (in my case a book) from a source (publishers, authors, etc..) you must now disclose on your blog that information. So for example, if I received a book from a publisher or author, whether it is an ARC or any book, I must state for the record that I received it for free. This goes into effect 12/1/09 and the FTC will fine for noncompliance.Confused a bit? Here is the official release. Here is an easier to read Continue Reading

You can read all of this on her blog - but in summary:There will not be a new Alpha and Omega book out in 2010. Instead, when Patricia is finished writing Silver Borne, the fifth Mercy Thompson book, she is going to edit her first ever book, Masques. Currently, Masques is selling on Amazon anywhere from $300-$500, so yay for a re-release! ;)There is also an unpublished sequel, Wolfsbane that will be edited and released. Aguirre, Andrews, Dare and Ward, Oh My!
Four of my favorite authors have books coming out today! *does happy dance*Sirantha Jax isn’t known for diplomatic finesse. As a “Jumper” who navigates ships through grimspace, she’s used to kicking ass first and taking names later—much later. Not exactly the obvious choice to sell the Conglomerate to the Ithtorians, a people whose opinions of humans are as hard as their exoskeletons. And Ithiss-Tor council meetings aren’t the only place where Ambassador Jax needs to maneuver carefully. Her Continue Reading
