Jayce stopped by to talk about how she approached writing Jeremiah coming out in her new novel, Jeremiah, available now. I came out as pansexual to a few of my friends over drinks, wings, and mumbo sauce. We were so busy laughing and kiki-ing it up that we didn’t even pause for reflection. To be honest, I wasn’t even sure they’d heard me. The next morning, one of them sent a group text. Jayce, did you come out to us last night, or was that my imagination? That was real, but I’m not sure I Continue Reading

10. Shondaland spoke with Ms. Bev about diversity in romance and I really enjoyed her thoughts. I had to share. "Love is love. We all love. And the industry should reflect everyone." https://t.co/x7xDjGwTJJ— Shondaland (@byshondaland) December 28, 2019 9. I missed this thread the first time around, thank goodness it came around again because IT IS THE BEST. BIG IDEA : PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AS TOLD THROUGH SCHITT’S CREEK GIFS. Kini’s Friday Kisses- Mini reviews for books by Kate Clayborn, Tasha L. Harrison, Roni Loren, and Emily Belden
Love Lettering by Kate Clayborn- I actually read this months ago but just waited to talk about it. I didn’t love this book. It was a good but not great read for me. It felt more like women’s fiction, but that is fine with me because I enjoy WF too. There was a lot of emphasis on the Meg’s work and it felt like too much at times. There is a subplot where Meg and her roommate/former best friend work on repairing their relationship but it also felt like this was a more important relationship to Meg Continue Reading
Kini’s Most Anticipated Reads 2020
First I want to mention that almost all of the books that I am excited about are from traditional publishers because they typically release information about new books several months in advance. If you are indie or self publishing a book, we would love to know about it sooner rather than later so we can get it on our radar! Our request form does not require an ARC. Second, most of these books are from the first half of 2020, with a few from the second half as publishing hasn’t released much Continue Reading
Sheena’s Most Anticipated Reads for 2020
I for one am soooo READY to ring in the New Year and (yet again!) embark on my quest to vanquish my TBRs and devour the books I am eagerly anticipating. MY 2020 romance reading forecast promises to be full of contemporary gems, paranormal activity-and I am determined to mark my return, back to my beloved Historicals- my all time fav genre, which took a back seat for me in 2019. My eyeballs are READY: Road to Salvation, Trilogy by Jamie Begley (Last Riders)- Book 1, Gavin's Song is out Continue Reading
Angela’s Most Anticipated for 2020
I have a mix of historical romance, fantasy romance/urban fantasy/Sci-Fi/PNR, and contemporary romance on my gimme, gimme, gimme list. Munro (Immortals After Dark #18) by Kresley Cole- I have no idea when this is releasing.... fingers crossed it comes out sometime in 2020. A Heart of Blood and Ashes (A Gathering of Dragons #1) by Milla Vane 2/4- I've actually already this (it's fabulous), but I'm adding it to the list to make sure non of you forget to add it to your TBR. Chasing Continue Reading
Sheena’s Favorites of 2019
Whoa, I didn't read nearly as much as I anticipated this year. I read my staple releases, and came across a few new authors and that was kind of...it. I actually did more RE-reading than anything! Maybe 2019 was just meant to be the year of nostalgia for me. Topping my re-read list? Waking the Dragon, Vale of Stars #1 by Juliette Lewis. It is quite possibly my favorite book to read these days! Liar's Game by Eric Jerome Dickey was also a repeat read and is one of my fav if not thee- fav all Continue Reading
