Tori’s Mini Reviews The Girl Who Knew Too Much by Amanda Quick Historical Mystery Suspense May 9, 2017 Grade: DNF I’ve always been a fan of Amanda Quick and her alter egos (Jayne ann Krentz and Jayne Castle) no matter what century we are in or what planet we’re on. This particular one caught my eye because it is set in the roaring 20s and hints at a diabolical and suspenseful mystery involving murder, lies, and revenge. The story opens with a murder when a young secretary, Anna, Continue Reading

Audible Feature: Late Summer Releases
I love audiobooks - I can't run errands or clean my house without my earbuds in listening to a good book. So, I'm very happy to team up with Audible to highlight new audio books each month, and giveaway a few of them as well. I'd love to hear what audio books you have enjoyed recently in the comments! I'm currently listening to Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. Took me a little while to get used to the narrator but otherwise it's fun...and super long. I'm also in the middle of listening to the Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten – March 14th
10. OMG a Strawbeary!! Never eat it! (Faces in Things is a fun twitter acct to follow) 9. One of my favorite authors. Julie James has a book on sale. Just the Sexiest Man Alive is now $1.99. I recommend all her books. My favorite I think is A Lot Like Love, but they are all good. Her next release comes out in May. 8. Lots of book news and cover reveals this week. Above is the latest from Joanna Wylde, Reaper's Stand. This will be Picnic's book! Before this one Continue Reading

10. Darcy and Lizzie finally kissed!!! My life is complete. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about (gasp! shame!) go here 9. This week I read both Blade Song and Night Blade by JC Daniels. May and Tori have been telling me to start this series for a long time and I finally listened to them. Zomg. These books are so, so good. Kit is a half breed assassin – kick ass heroine – smart, stubborn, feisty. She gets paired with a VERY alpha cat shifter. He growls and purrs. It’s a really Continue Reading

10. I’m completely obsessed with the Lizzie Bennett Diary videos. Beyond obsessed. Unfamiliar? They are a modern adaption of Pride & Prejudice told in Vlog style. Completely adorable and they capture the book so well. Darcy and his awkward flirting makes me die swooning. There are currently 86 episodes and each one is 3-4 minutes long. We are getting towards the end, as Wickham and Lydia’s drama is now unfolding. *bites lip* This above gif make me smile so much. Yes Darcy – Continue Reading
