10. I survived a week at Disney. Just barely. I had never been, so I didn’t know what to expect. I knew my kids would love it, but I was surprised to discover how much I loved it. The “It’s a Small World Ride,” – that is me. I want to live in there and be a hula dancer. I’m not kidding. Highlights for my kids – Space Mountain, Indiana Jones Stunt Show, Harry Potter at Universal (we drank Butter Beer!), and they loved everything at Animal Kingdom. So much fun, however, I now need a vacation to Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten
Mandi is still getting drunk, I mean, on vacation at Disney so it's just you and me today. Last I heard she was drinking Grey Goose slushie's in France at Epcot. You go girl! I am so thrilled I was able to meet Mandi and her family this week. They are all so adorable. She is just like I imagined and if I could, I would kidnap them all and make them stay here in FL with me. :) But I hear that's frowned on by the law so I shall restrain myself. 10. Smexy’s Top Ten–March 2nd
10. In case you were worried. (source) 9. Nalini Singh released the cover for her next Guild Hunters book, Archangel’s Storm. This will be Jason’s book. OH BABY BABY. Smexy is excited. If you click on the picture, it will enlarge it and you can see Jason’s face tattoo. Oh yes. You bring those big black wings right over here, you smexy angel. Blurb: With wings of midnight and an affinity for shadows, Jason courts darkness. But now, with the Archangel Neha’s consort lying murdered Continue Reading
Where Are All The Nice PNR Heroes?
Yesterday on Twitter we were talking about Lothaire, and Jane asked, where are the nice guys in PNR? There does seem to be a lot of bad boys out there. I love to see a bad boy be brought down by love. Lothaire has walked the Earth for centuries, always getting his way. I am amused by how his heroine Ellie makes him learn how to be unselfish (somewhat). Dmitri from Nalini Singh’s Archangel’s Blade is another very naughty hero. So wicked. Again, I love how he stays wicked throughout the book. Continue Reading
Helyce’s Keeper Shelf
I’ve always loved to read, but it has only been about the last three years where I must admit to it becoming somewhat of an addiction. When I innocently commented to a friend that I had read the Twilight series and really enjoyed it, she said, “Well, if you liked that, you’d probably like some of these.” She proceeded to pull boxes out from storage in her garage and opened them to reveal so many books I was overwhelmed. The first series she gave me was the Argeneau Vampire series by Lynsay Continue Reading
Helyce’s Favorite Books of 2011
When Mandi asked me to put together a list of my favorite reads for 2011, I thought “piece of cake!”, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. First, I didn’t do a good job of keeping track of everything I’ve read this year and two; I found it extremely difficult not to list every “I just couldn’t put it down” book that I had read. Before I begin, I would like to thank Mandi for inviting me to be a part of her team here at Smexy Books. I have had so much fun and the opportunity to read books that I Continue Reading
