10. I’m not going to fill up today’s top ten with Magic Mike pictures again. I swear. *shifty eyes* Of course, that means you miss the red band trailer where you see Channing’s butt. Or this picture of Channing’s butt. Or this one of Matt Bomer’s butt. Or these butts. I COULD DO A TOP TEN OF JUST BUTTS! But let’s keep it classy, folks. 9. I love Charlotte Stein’s voice. She wrote Sheltered, which is a contemporary I highly recommend. And Control, which is an erotic Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten
Mandi is still getting drunk, I mean, on vacation at Disney so it's just you and me today. Last I heard she was drinking Grey Goose slushie's in France at Epcot. You go girl! I am so thrilled I was able to meet Mandi and her family this week. They are all so adorable. She is just like I imagined and if I could, I would kidnap them all and make them stay here in FL with me. :) But I hear that's frowned on by the law so I shall restrain myself. 10. KT Grant, author and fellow Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–February 24th
10. Oh wait, we aren’t suppose to have wine with breakfast? 9. Yes, that is a cartoon picture of Ilona Andrews with horns. I didn’t make it! She has it on her blog. I used it because the cover of Gunmetal Magic has not yet been released, but they have put chapter one on their blog! This will be Andrea’s book (in the Kate Daniels world – we are not getting a Kate Daniels book in 2012. It’s okay, we can all hold hands and cry a little together) No, I’m excited for this book – I really like Continue Reading

Where Are All The Nice PNR Heroes?
Yesterday on Twitter we were talking about Lothaire, and Jane asked, where are the nice guys in PNR? There does seem to be a lot of bad boys out there. I love to see a bad boy be brought down by love. Lothaire has walked the Earth for centuries, always getting his way. I am amused by how his heroine Ellie makes him learn how to be unselfish (somewhat). Dmitri from Nalini Singh’s Archangel’s Blade is another very naughty hero. So wicked. Again, I love how he stays wicked throughout the book. Continue Reading
Smexy’s Top Ten–September 16th
10. My Week – Hey, Smexy has a new look! A new template that I hope makes everything look a bit cleaner and is easier to use. A HUGE thank you to Sophia from Fiction Vixen for installing and designing it. If it wasn’t for her, there wouldn’t be much going on at Smexy. I email her things like – “you know that thingy that goes in the side bar – how do I put that in” – and she somehow interprets and does it for me. She is awesome like that. 9. Free book anyone? French Quarter by Continue Reading
Smexy’s Top Ten–July 22nd
10. My week – It is something like 110 degrees out. I think the low for Baltimore last night barely made it out of the 90’s. Yeah, not cool Mother Nature. 9. Great news for Stacia Kane fans – she announced on her blog that there will be a fifth book in her Downside series. Book four, Sacrificial Magic is scheduled to come out March 27th. (Read chp one here). Book five will be called Chasing Magic. If you haven’t read this series I definitely recommend. Book one, Unholy Ghosts is Continue Reading
Review: Under Wraps by Hannah Jayne
Under Wraps (Underworld Detection Agency #1) by Hannah Jayne Urban Fantasy March 1, 2011 Paperback Kensington Reviewed by Tori Favorite Quote: “Anyone under three feet tall gives me the creeps; including my kids.“ Sophie Lawson is an “executive assistant” for the head of the UAD-Underworld Detection Agency. Considered a “norm” or “breather” in this all supernatural word, Sophie’s claim to fame is that she is a null. Meaning nothing magical works on her or against her. So Sophie Continue Reading
