Smexy’s Top Ten–November 11th
10. Earlier in the week, a deer hunter fell out of a tree at the end of my street (my street dead-ends at a big wooded area. Also, I live in redneckville). Four fire trucks, three ambulances, police and the medevac helicopter all came. I guess he had a phone, and was able to call 9-1-1. It was dramatic, especially watching the helicopter try to land in this small field on my street. I have no idea how hurt the hunter was, I hope he is okay. My little street can’t handle that type of chaos! Continue Reading
‘Tis the Season for Romance
Are we in the holiday spirit yet? Yes, I know we haven’t even made it through Halloween, but Walmart already has their Christmas decorations up. And, I’ve been receiving a lot of holiday romance books from Mr. UPS man. So I’m in the mood for eggnog and some smexy ho ho ho’s. A few of the holiday books we have received over the past few weeks: I’ve learned, that our fellow Smexy Books reviewer, May loves, loves, loves her holiday romance books and will be reviewing a couple of the Continue Reading
Author Fan Letter Blog Crawl
I am so happy to be a part of the Author Fan Letter Blog Crawl for a second year. First of all, a big thank you to Kassa for organizing everything!! Yesterday, Sean Kennedy wrote to Margaret Atwood and tomorrow Erotic Horizon will have her letter. (For a full list of blogs participating, go HERE) But today it is my turn. Last year I wrote to Mary Balogh who was one of the first romance authors I read. This year when I was asked to participate, I sat back and thought about what author has really Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–January 14th
10. This week has been crazy. We’ve had snow, school closings, and my oldest son turned seven. He got a spy video camera wrist watch. Why did I think letting my seven year old take secret video footage of me was a good thing? He already knows how to plug the usb thing into the computer too – to download his pictures. Lovely. I will never introduce him to youtube. Worse – my Mother In-law bought him one too..so now my 4 year old wears the extra. There is nowhere to hide in my house. 9. Nalini Continue Reading

J and Mar are both texting. *Iz skeered*We arrived at the luxe Swan & Dolphin resort at Disney. WOW! This place is freaking NICE!! I got a little overly excited when I got there. Here is Nalini Continue Reading
Fan Letter to an Author
Fellow blogger, Kassa, came up with a wonderful idea – write a letter to your favorite author. Today is my turn, and the hardest part of this for me is picking the author. I spent a lot of time just staring at my bookshelves, contemplating what author has moved me, has given me a book that I have gushed and twirled about with. And as I looked at my shelves, I was overwhelmed by the number of authors that I wanted to single out. Eventually, I decided to start at the beginning – the author Continue Reading
