Odds and Ends
I have a little bit of everything in this post - paranormal, UF, historical, m/m, but it's all romance so let's get to it:(I hope you realize I will use any reason to post this cover until April!)JR Ward is almost done Love Mine - hooray! Have I mentioned I am excited for this book? ;)If you are a fan of the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning and don't receive her newsletter than you are missing out! Reason I mention Continue Reading
I have a date with Little Eddie
New Moon is here people! Let's all simmer down for a few minutes of sanity - ok maybe not ;) I am going with a group of girls (because let's face it, husbands would totally ruin the night) on Saturday evening to see it. Our first stop is a wine bar, because New Moon will be a much better viewing experience after a few glasses, don't you agree? I am very excited to see smexy RPatz on the big screen again. Yes, there are rumors he may not bathe everyday, and yes, Jacob's abs have garnered much Continue Reading
New Authors, New Genres – Let’s Get Excited
In the coming months, there are some brand-spanking new authors that have fine looking books coming out and there are also established authors that are entering new genres. It's a win-win for us book obsessed!! As the good book pimp that I am, I must share these finds with you:First up is debut author Jill Myles - she posted the covers to her new books on Twitter and I was immediately intrigued. I took the time to read the first chapter of Gentlemen Prefer Succubi, and I think they are going to Continue Reading
Smexy’s Top Ten
Buzzworthy book of the week - Shadowfae by Erica Hayes. This combines Fae, vampires and shifters, and looks like some hot lovin'. Really looks good from things I have read. We watch The Office a week behind (blame husband who is not home on Thursday nights) so I can now just talk about Jim and Pam's wedding! Seriously - crazy good episode. Between Dwight getting some action, Andy doing the splits on his keys, and Meredith - my favorite character, it was a funny show. Plus, how sweet are Jim and Continue Reading

The books I read in June, presented by George Clooney:Revealed - Kate Noble - Honestly, not only one of the best of the year I have read, one of the best I have ever read. Marcus Worth is the best beta hero. Great historical romance.Silent Blade - Ilona Andrews - Great short story, such a unique world and very romantic. In The Midnight Hour - Ryne is quite the girl fighting demons, especially with the help of Deke. The third in this series just came out yesterday. I recommend.Street Magic - Continue Reading
SSHH It’s A take Over – Update
Hello me Beauties…. SSSSShhhhhh You know you have to be quiet. Honestly it’s getting all kinda messed up in that tunnel to get to you guys. I am bruised and not happy about it – but I am determined to get this info to you. After stalking Mandi for a while we have learned that Mandi will be taking herself off to RWA and after that a little lifeguard drooling and we are hoping that she has a great time and don’t do too much fangirl blushing when she meets Josh Lanyon and Melissa Continue Reading
Authors That Never Let You Down
I was talking to Leontine, of Leontine's Book Realm on Twitter a while ago, and we were discussing our excitement over Nalini Singh's new book, Branded by Fire. She said, Nalini Singh is one of the few authors that have never let her down with a single book. I immediately agreed, and then started scanning my shelves to see what other authors fit that category. Out of all of the authors I read, I came up with five that have never let me down:Nalini Singh - As just mentioned, her Psy/Changeling Continue Reading
May Reading List
I can't believe it is June already (well, in two days). I think I say that at the end of every month, but it really does not feel like summer yet. Of course, once I think it feels like summer it will be the end of August and then I will say, I can't believe fall is almost here. Then it will snow and I will say where did winter come from? Then it will be spring and well...you get my point. I have some serious obsession with the weather. I have to know the forecast every morning and if I have the Continue Reading
